The bill seeks to amend the 2020 Appropriations Act and authorize the issue of the total sum of ₦10,509,654,033,053 only from the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Federation, of which:
- ₦398,505,979,362 is for Statutory Transfers;
- ₦2,951,710,000,000 is for Debt Service;
- ₦4,928,525,467,849 is for Recurrent (Non-Debt) Expenditure; and
- ₦2,230,912,585,842 is for contribution to the Development Fund for Capital Expenditure for the year ending on 31 December, 2020.
The bill went through second (2nd) reading in both chambers of the National Assembly and was subsequently referred to each chamber’s Committee on Appropriation for further consideration.
