Acted as counsel to an international oil company in various new ventures transactions including its farm-in to the Okwok and Ebok fields.

Acted as Nigerian counsel to an international oil company in its listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange in Canada and in its subsequent acquisition by another international oil company.  

Acting for an oil and gas exploration and production company in its acquisition of a major stake valued at US$130 million in a marginal field in Nigeria.  

Acting as legal counsel to the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission in respect of the N213billion Nigerian Electricity Market Stabilization Facility, an intervention fund established to resolve liquidity issues in the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry by settling outstanding legacy gas debts among other measures.      

Advised an AIM listed oil & Gas Company in its acquisition through a Nigerian joint venture SPV of a 45% participating interest in an OML from Shell, Total and Agip and its subsequent listing on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange. This is the largest listing of an oil and gas company on the AIM, in the last five years up to 2012.   

Advised a manufacturing company on a gas sale and purchase agreement (GSPA) entered with Shell Nigeria Gas Limited for the supply of natural gas to the client’s polymer manufacturing facility.  

Acting as Nigerian Counsel advising an international oil and gas company on several iterations of its mulitmillion-dollar Reserve Base Lending Facility taken by one of its subsidiaries, with Stanbic IBTC Trustees Limited as facility agent. 

Acting as the Nigerian counsel to Eland Oil & Gas (which held a stake in the holder of a participating interest in OML 40) in its acquisition by Seplat Production Development Company Plc for approximately £382 million.
